Why Two Okapis
You’ve probably never seen an okapi in the wild. Most people haven’t. They’re quiet, rare, tend to hide and beautifully unexpected—horse build, zebra stripes, giraffe tongue, entirely their own. And that’s what makes them unforgettable.
Two Okapis was born from a moment—standing face-to-face with this elusive creature, just as I was becoming a parent to twins who would grow up at the intersection of cultures, identities, and wonder. Over the years, the okapi became a symbol in my life. Of uniqueness. Of convergence. Of quiet strength. Of meaning.
Today, it represents me. A therapist by training. A chief technology officer by experience. A guide who understands both how people work and how systems work. My gift is helping individuals and organizations find clarity in complexity—whether that’s emotional, operational, or technological.
Two Okapis is where those worlds meet.
It’s consulting with heart.
It’s tech with empathy.
It’s strategy that feels like support.
If tech stress has taken over your life or your team, if you’ve been saying “We should have figured this out by now,” or if you’re simply tired of systems that don’t fit the humans who use them—you’re in the right place.
I make it less overwhelming.
More doable.
More human.
